Driving in Hyd

Last evening I was on my way to Hitec City via Punjagutta. People in Hyd, must know by now how crowded it is.

Atleast It not a nightmare as in Mehdipatnam. That place is one big NO for driving. People there have absolutely no regard to Traffic Rules. The lights Red and noone even bother s to stop and the traffic cops not even attempting to stop the law breakers. One time to avoid the route-
**After Namaz
**At around 2-3.30pm - This is the time when the St.Anns college closes for the day, n the lane s a total No-No. Everyone in a hurry to leave and ofcourse, the boys gawking at the girls and trying to catch their attention attempting some stupid stunts.

n Back to yesterdays drive to Hitec City. Theres absolutely no Lane sense here. People just keep changing Lanes when they please. Thats tolerable up to an extent. But what is not is when people wanting to go right, blocking the way.
It irritated me no end , when theres this big hunk of an idiot blocking the entire way . He was real lucky that I was in a hurry.

Forgot to mention that they arent any Zebra crossing in Punjagutta. But that s no excuse for people to cross roads when the light is Red. In case theres an accident the person driving the four wheeler is at fault. Why don't people make use of the FOBs? Not many do that.Oh yeah, even places where there is an FOB like in Mehdipatnam, noone bothers to use it. They just cross the road as they wish bringing the traffic to a standstill, making a fool of themselves and everybody.

Unless and Until the flyover in Punjagutta gets completed, its a paradise for Jay walkers, Law Breakers.
